danthemoopman
danthemoopman is my personal creative entity—a persona that represents me through an abstract, non-human form, featuring a bagged head, horns, and an ambiguous existence. More than just a character, it serves as the face of my online presence, spanning Twitch streaming, self-branding, and a hub for my projects and merchandise. Through this identity, I merge my illustrations, design work, and digital content into a cohesive universe that reflects my artistic vision.

Where The Moop Begins
As a creator, I wanted to expand my presence and build a personal brand beyond just a name. For years, I went by danthemoopman without fully utilizing it. Knowing how the internet moves and being deeply connected to its culture, I saw an opportunity to grow—both as a creator and as a brand. Streaming became the thread that tied it all together, turning my online identity into something bigger.
The Persona
"An enigmatic entity lingering between worlds, danthemoopman exists at the intersection of the digital and the unknown. Masked with a tattered bag and horns piercing through, this persona drifts through games, art, and eerie atmospheres, embodying a presence that is both mysterious and expressive. Whether haunting the screen, creating, or simply existing in the void, danthemoopman is a manifestation of digital identity, creativity, and the ever-evolving space between reality and distortion."
Problem
I had an online alias, but no real direction for it. Danthemoopman existed in name only, without a clear identity or purpose. I needed a way to turn it into something tangible—a brand that could connect my creativity, internet presence, and audience in a meaningful way.
Solution
To give danthemoopman a true identity, I embraced VTubing—a form of streaming where the persona becomes the face of the brand. By developing a unique character that embodies my online presence, I merged my creativity, branding, and streaming into one cohesive experience. This approach allowed me to engage with my audience in a dynamic, visually compelling way while staying true to the themes and aesthetics that define my work.
Early Logo Development
The first step in defining danthemoopman visually was simplifying the character to its core elements—horns and a bagged head. Through thumbnail sketches and iterations, I worked to distill these defining traits into a recognizable and versatile logo. This process ensured that the logo captured the essence of the persona while remaining adaptable for branding across different platforms.
The final icon emerged from these sketches, refining the character into a bold, minimal design that retained its essential features. The horns and bagged head became the defining silhouette, creating a distinct and instantly recognizable mark. This icon now serves as the visual cornerstone of danthemoopman, seamlessly integrating into my branding, streaming presence, and merchandise.
Logo Revisions
The icon continued to evolve through a series of refinements, adjusting proportions, line weight, and details to enhance its clarity and adaptability. Each iteration fine-tuned the balance between simplicity and character, ensuring the mark remained strong across different applications. This timeline of adjustments reflects the ongoing process of perfecting danthemoopman’s visual identity while maintaining its core essence.
Finalized Logos
After multiple refinements, the finalized set of logos was established—a primary, secondary, and tertiary icon, each serving a specific role in the brand’s visual system. The primary logo embodies the full character identity, while the secondary and tertiary logos offer simplified variations for versatility across different applications. Together, they create a cohesive and flexible branding system that represents danthemoopman across all platforms.
